“Twitter” is 2009 Word of the Year December 1, 2009
Via Guy Kawasaki’s awesome blog at AllTop, Holy Kaw!, which features lots of fun news items. The Global Language Monitor has named “Twitter” the top word of 2009. I fell in love with Twitter this past summer and I have been expressing myself in 140-character blurbs ever since! I have the twidget app on my Android G1 and it makes tweeting and following tweets so simple. For my computer I use TweetDeck, another awesome app that allows for duplication to Facebook and other social networking sites. Twitter is the bomb (to borrow an expression from the 90s)!
